We are in Philadelphia. No ship assigned yet. This should be one of the first X1s with the driver assistant pro.

Is anyone seeing a significant delay in shipping? The X1 I booked came off Production line on Nov 28th and has been sitting at port since Dec 2nd. There is no visibility on when it may get on the ship. Wondering if I should just pick a (demo) car with 200 miles from dealer that I can get in a week(no discount). It almost checks all the boxes that I have on my ordered car. Any thoughts on how long this shipping limbo can be there for cars produced a month back?

Yes, my x1 was at port waiting for 5 weeks before status changed to in transit. There were no recalls on my vehicle and dealer did not know why it was delayed.

My X1 was ordered mid September, still not on the water, much less in my hands. To my knowledge there were no stop orders or any other specific reason for it taking so long. I,m in the USA, ordered an X line San remo green

Found this on the BMW UK Press website - good view of what is on offer for the new X1 and the current models, specs etc. for the UK a good few people might find useful as a resource. I can't upload the PDF its too big for the forum but I've out the link below.

BMW X1 and iX1 UK Launch Information

Some good resources in it regardless of the market for everyone. Be aware the engines are different in the UK / EU to other markets such as the US and Australia though some don't add Mild Hybrid elements for example.

Another resource that can help many as a PDF. Its on the BMW Germany website but its actually in English. Most things on it are generic but careful on the engines as they don't match all market option but it was useful to able to have a proper PDF to read through than the pants BMW UK website.
