I think I may have bought a pup.
1 month old 3,000 miles and need vehicle recovery.
2 hours into a 3 hour journey just after a break. Press accelerator and car just revs. No drive. Turned off and on. Started to drive same fault after a few yards. Drivetrain error comes up.
4 hours on still waiting for vehicle recovery. BMW have not even attempted a roadside repair.
Known fault and straight recovery to a BMW main dealer.
A years wait to get this car. So delighted with it but will never have any confidence in it again.
Anyone had similar

UPDATE
JUST BEEN TOLD BMW ARE REPLACING GEARBOX. This is after 1 month and 3,000 miles. Thinking whether I should say I don’t want it back and ask for full refund. Don’t think I will ever have confidence in this car

Happened to me after 500km.
Took 2 weeks for repair, Bmw changed CPU unit that controls battery and electric functions.
Now I'm around 9.000km and everything looks fine
