I’ve have my x1 for 7 months & I have never seen the 3D building feature at all in the “Surburban” area in New York where I typically drive. I don’t live near a city nor do I go near one often. Does anyone know if this feature is limited to certain populated city’s? Or perhaps BMW has not introduced it in the USA.

Can someone send a photo of what 3D map looks like? Would appreciate a lot. 🤔

I had to activate it in that navigation settings I think. It’s not on by default. And it’s part of the subscription.

It's available as BMW extended map features in which you'll have to subscribe. I think it's part of Digital Premium subscription.
Though you might have to check if your regional maps actually have 3D map.
