I got myself a new phone and it paired up without issues but the phone name is not displaying, only a load of numbers and letters. In the new phone it is named correctly, it just doesn't show properly in the car. I cannot see anywhere in the car to change it, does anyone know how to?

Not seen anything like that before. I would delete the note 9 from the car and remove the car from your note 9. I would then delete your new phone and do an idrive reset then connect your new phone again. Don’t know if this will work but worth a try. Good luck.

Just reporting that that worked Tunners! Deleted the old phone and the new one and then reconnected the new one. All ok now

Glad you got it sorted.

Try reducing the size of your photos, they should then show the correct way up.
