I just got delivery of my X2 2025 with all the added options but it still doesn’t give me the option to record manoeuvre. Does anyone else have the same issue ?

I think/hope that it'll come with the July update.

What version of iDrive 9 do you have?

That’s insane, I really thought it comes with everything because in UAE you have to pay for all the added features you don’t have the choice to choose and pay for what you require.
Mine is M sports xDrive 20i.

Is the automatic manoeuvring assistant even an option for the X1?

As far as I know, only the reversing assistant is possible, and this is currently available (at least for iDrive 8)

From summer 2024, standard equipment for the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer, BMW X1 and BMW X2 will expand to include seat heating for the driver and front passenger, M High-gloss Shadow Line trim and the option of using the Personal eSIM. Meanwhile, the Parking Assistant Professional has been added to the options list. It enables automated entry into and exit from parking spaces from outside the car as well using a smartphone and the My BMW App. This option also includes the Manoeuvre Assistant, which allows the customer to carry out extensive manoeuvres covering a distance of up to 200 metres each – again from outside the car with a smartphone. It is also possible to quickly switch between control methods, meaning that once a parking or general manoeuvre has commenced, it can be halted at any time and then resumed again either from inside the car using its control/operation system or from outside with a smartphone.

BMW Operating System 9 allows the functionality of the Parking Assistant Professional to also be downloaded to the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer, BMW X1 and BMW X2 over the air from the BMW ConnectedDrive Store, which is available in the All Apps menu and via the My BMW App. Cars must have the required specification, including BMW Parking Assistant Plus.

Oh nice! I keep seeing new features being added for iDrive 9 but not iDrive 8 🥲
