'22 lease buyout: What features turn off after 3 years?

I am trying to decide what to do with my 22 330 lease that is up in October. My current car is a 22 xDrive in Sunset Orange /w mSport that I custom ordered in October of 22. I was getting ready to order a replacement and after considering the various 25's (3 series, x3, and i4); I'm considering just keeping my current model.

If I buy out my current lease what features do I currently have that are on subscriptions that will go away? i.e. does my app access /w remote locking, location services, remote start, etc. durable or is that a subscription that I'll have to renew, is there anything else?

You will have to renew Connected Drive after four years. Nothing else goes away.

Note: Free maintenance is for three years. So you will have to pay for maintenance.

Your maps may also go out of date. However, you can usually buy the update subscription from a 3rd party for about $120 /year and you will get 2-3 updates each year.

What does that mean in practical terms?

Connected Drive controls the My BMW application and map updates. If you don’t buy it My BMW wont work and you are stuck with the last uploaded map.

I have 2020. x7 40i. Check in the BMW app under Connected Services. It should give you a menu of what is available and the cost for an annual renewal per item or for all. Does not automatically renew. I don't recall the cost to renew all but it wasn't much. Seem recall about $150 for all which includes map updates.
