Hey everyone,
Not sure what happened to my other post in here or any of the other posts I made in the other sections but I can't get anyone from the admin to reply to me. Maybe since my post said back for the first time they think I'm someone else, maybe I joked around about finding some good political content to post, who knows but apparently I pee'd in someone's cheerios.
What I meant by back for the first time was that I had an X5 previously somewhere around '04-'05, sold it and went American for a while. So back for the first time meant I'm back in an X5. Before I started looking again, didn't even know this forum existed. I used to hang out at x5world, now xoutpost. I was a mod/admin there....go search my screen name.
So whoever I ticked off, apologies? I guess? I still would've liked a heads-up or maybe a warning or something.
Anyway...I am ekaz, I own an X5 (again), and apparently a trouble maker already. lol (Just a joke admins)

Welcome back (again)! What made you jump back into an X5 after all these years? What version are you driving?

For context, I'm on my 4th X6, 2nd X6M. Obviously, I'm a big fan of the X6 platform, lol

A bunch of us started with the E53 X5s, and then Ekaz went to the dark side - Jeep.. We had a hell of a crew over at X5World. I was an mod/admin there too. We traveled all over the country with meets in FL, SC, CA, DC, and I put together annual meets up in CT. A bunch of us even went to Cancun. That was a blast.

Anyway, glad ekaz found BP.

Honestly I had a pretty solid run with several Mopars but took a test drive in an X5 on a whim and that was it. It felt right and everything else just fell into place. As for what I got...a '23 m50i that has pretty much everything but the M sport package and the larger brakes ( no idea why get everything else and skip that).
Anyway, good to be back and look forward to hanging around for a bit. Now on the hunt to hurt my wallet more for the brakes and maybe swapping in the heated/cooled cup holders.

I think the problem started when the administrator(s) read that you are a friend of cmyx6go. She's sweet but also a troublemaker at the same time, so if you mention her name, you gotta suffer the consequence... I'm just kidding cmyx6go is a good person ... Just make sure you don't drive slow in front of her in the left lane
