Discount I can expect these days
I am going to buy X1 until next week.
Could you share your recent discount from dealers? It could help when I have to negotiate soon. I am in Austin, TX. |

I bought from BMW Austin when I purchased my M240ix. BMW South Austin was more expensive. I Will go back there at the end of the year for an X1 for my wife as her current lease will be ending. Let me know how you make out.

Its MSRP is $47,695 (X1 with xLine + premium package).
$2,144 off from MSRP + $500 BMW credit. Also they wrote off all dealer add-ons (tint, nitrogen, guard) My initial expectation was $2,000 off minimum. My alternative was 2025 MINI Countryman Iconic trim, but they are also under stop-sale as they share the same platform. I googled this BMW stop-sale, and all delivery of X1/X5/X7 stops now. Dealership receives the replacement IBS modules time to time, but they are assigned to units which are already sold. Then dealers suggested me to reserve one (1K deposit from one dealer, no deposit from other dealer, and refundable when I cancel it) so that they can install new IBS to the one I reserve. But still they cannot guarantee when they can resolve. MINI dealer said that there are some deliveries next week with new IBS; they are not under stop-sale. But no Iconic trim I am looking for. I thought that I could buy one from what searched for before Labor day, but it looks almost impossible. |

That’s a great net price off a new 2025. I signed to buy my 2024 x1 28i late last October & received $2000 off MSRP & I thought that was good considering every where else I checked was at full MSRP or just $500 off it. They did however offer $1500 lower on my trade than anyone else, so that’s something. |

I actually got it from a dealership in Missippi. Galleria BMW. They offered a $3k discount in their initial quote. That’s after comparison shopping with at least 15 other dealerships lol, it was worth it in the end. The second best initial discount I got was $1500.

I guess that better discounts are being offered now than were available for the 2023 & 2024’s buyers because word is out that while the vehicle drives well & looks great, it has some short comings & are not moving off the lots as fast now. Also, the 2025 is its 3rd year of the 3rd Generation X1.

My wife and I bought our 2024 X1, with premium package and remote start, in April. BMW Raleigh provided a quote for an X1 on their lot. BMW Charlottesville tried to pull that vehicle, but couldn't. BMW Charlottesville had on in the production queue and built it to our specs. We received $4,800 of MSRP.

I think you got a Fantastic price this past April. Suppose since I was among the first to buy a 2024 X1 28i with the same options (+ a few more) in October 2023 & made the 1st week of production towards the end of that month, no dealer within 50 miles of me on LI, NY was in a giving mood.
As I mentioned earlier I received $2000 off MSRP but was able to get $1500 more from that dealer than the other closest offer on trade in. So I guess I got $3500 off. Haha 🤣 but I like Your discount more. Oh, one other thing that I mentioned in another thread. Because I had a great deal of ID9 related & BMW Connect problems in March, I negotiated with BMW service & received a check for $800. |
