They came by UPS. They charged 300€ or about $335 USD. I got the front, back and sides.

Another engine mod to add to the list… Burger Motorsport JB4 for Gen 3 B48/B58. But keep in mind you’ll need a special harness to fit our platform rather than the one that comes with it. So you’ll want to inquire with burger to make sure they set you up right.

Confirmed it’s up and running on my car.

Honestly… not too much. But I should turn it off and try again to see if I feel a difference.

They suggested keeping it in map 1 right now as they want to add more logging channels before going ahead to stage 2. This was following some data logging with them.

Looks like the m35 is already quite aggressive on the tune so even though I run 93 they said stage 1 is safer for now.

I dropped it right behind the battery, under the windshield wiper motor. Here’s a DIY video I put together. Sorry for the potential motion sickness… last time I film one of these with my Go Pro…

Do you know how much torque does the car have with the stage 1 tune? The reason I ask is that I wanna get a tune to fix the accerlation lag but I’m worried the DCT on M35i (7DCT400 by Magna/getrag) would be the limiting factor as its max. input torque is rated at 400Nm.

Not sure. Stage 1 only increases boost by 3 PSI so I doubt it would be enough to cause trouble.

What acceleration lag are you feeling? I feel the DCT lag issue is mostly from a standstill or quick increase in acceleration and wouldn’t be fixed by more power. If amounting it would be amplified.

I never bought the paddles. Was just showing an alternative version to the OEM paddles

Sorry I meant the slow throttle response at low RPMs. But yes, the major lag I feel is the standstill/ sudden increase in acceleration, which should be related to the DCT programming.

By the way, do you guys know how to fully disable both traction and stability control in the U11? I try to select DSC OFF but there is some electronic interference when doing a big skid on dirt road. And there isn’t any ESC button where we can press and hold to disable everything.

Ohh, I don't think the alternative version can fix on our car. I'm still waiting for China factory to update me on the same as M35 paddle.

Why not get one that hangs on the sun visor? That way you don’t lose the handle functionality

I learned to drive from two German teachers. Both were old school and they NEVER had food or drink while driving. Somehow I picked up that habit and also NEVER have food or drink in any of my cars in the last 40 years. I put a 16-ounce heavy-duty plastic cup in the cupholder and keep my sunglasses there.

No mention if it in USA manual

Every vehicle (except 24 X1) I’ve had since 1990 has had a eyeglass storage holder near the middle of the headliner near the windshield. My sunglasses 🕶️ will not even fit in the concealed armrest storage area, which is not high enough.
