Industry-Wide Supply Chain Issues

My 2025 x1 M35i has entered production.

Of course, there is a disclaimer stating that delays may happen and certain "components and features" may not be available due to supply issues.

Great...this is the same thing that happened when I ordered my last BMW, so what would have been a fully-loaded 330 M Sport was missing some of the tech that I wanted among other stuff I can't remember. I got used to it, but its hard to believe this may happen again.

In any event, I feel like if I ask my sales guy I'm not going to get straight answers as he will likely not even know at this point.

Do we know of anything particular that could end up being not on the car as ordered? While I can't recall exactly what I lost the last time around, I know for sure that all the nice 3D camera views and parking stuff was not available and was missing.

same boat here got 2 in production - my last set of X3's I ordered the minute the US configurator came on line for the 2022's and by the time it hit production they deleted my shadowline, SiriusXM, passenger lumbar, and wheels/tires were swapped.

Dealer gave me all seasons and mobility kits for each so that was cool (since they were the 4th set of BMWs I bought from them.) but it was disappointing non-the-less since it was truly the first time I ordered cars to spec vs just buying off the lot or doing a locate for "close-enough" figuring I would get exactly what I wanted this time.

hoping that's just a left-over message ~ but who knows - reading some of the other threads about things being cut like USB ports

You should ask your sales representative at BMW what they are currently hearing. My 2024 build done in November 23 had everything I ordered but I was told there might be a problem with SUNROOF and further said there would be a $1000 discount if that happened. She further was able to state that if there were a deviation from what I selected, I would be informed or would see it in the app that shows the production stages of my vin#.
Good luck
