Makes me select ID and enter PIN

For whatever reason my ID8 keeps asking me to select the user ID and then entering the PIN when I start a trip. Any idea how I can get it to stop doing this?

In the iDrive settings, somewhere there is a setting to tie your key fob to your log in. Once you do that, it will stop asking.
