It’s a bit of a painful process, but if you’re in the same boat, I’d encourage you to do the same, unless you were sold the car without these features they should be assumed there based on previous models etc - if not explicitly said.

Best of luck to all.
What’s the door will issue? I get mine in a bout 2 weeks. I’m gonna look for both these issues.

They're no longer included on the car with purchase.

Globe Box Light

I was able to retrofit the globe box light.

Missing was the globebox light switch and the wiring

pin 49 from the fuse box to the switch and then pin32 from a528*7b to the light.

no coding needed. just wiring

The Switch that I used was from previous generation generation x1

I noticed that you can use a Ford explorer switch. Other autobrands also use the same switch. You need to search it using 30538-205

Hi Bro,
Would you do me a favor and will share with me where the switch is located in your glove box?

Yes. It's in the damper rod that is located in the ride side of the glove box. Inside the glove box. You will need to remove the glove box

I’m thinking of getting this. It’s completely dark here in the UK by 4pm now and when I come back from work and try and find stuff in the glovebox I can’t see anything.

How did you get the glove box out? Was the fuse box back there someplace? Thanks.
