Charles Leclerc identifies the weaknesses Ferrari has overcome:
– With only three races left in the season, Ferrari is within reach of the Constructors’ Championship, trailing McLaren by 36 points. Charles Leclerc is also in contention for second place in the Drivers’ Championship, just 24 points behind Lando Norris. The Scuderia has claimed five race wins this season, with Leclerc securing three of those victories, crediting Ferrari’s progress under team principal Fred Vasseur. – Reflecting on areas of improvement, Leclerc explained, “Well, I think there were a few weaknesses. First, when I arrived in the team, I think tyre management on my side was always a weakness back then. And I think now it actually became one of my strengths.” – Leclerc noted how Ferrari’s teamwork has progressed gradually but steadily, with key improvements in strategy led by Ravin Jain and his team. “I think, strategy wise, we are in a much better place today. Ravin and his team is doing an exceptional job. And on that, we have done a big step forward.” – The arrival of Fred Vasseur has also brought stability to Ferrari, balancing the team’s passion with a steady professional approach, according to Leclerc. “Fred is a very emotionally flat person, at least professionally speaking, and I think that’s exactly what’s needed in Ferrari for a boss with a very clear vision… these are the steps that we’ve done in the last five, six years and we’ll try and continue.” – Looking ahead, Leclerc believes Ferrari has room for further growth, with a clear vision for future development and an ambition to win both the Constructors’ and Drivers’ titles, ideally starting this year. |

The T-Tray system on the Red Bull "RB19" and "RB20" shares similarities, though some key differences have emerged.
It's unclear whether the automatic system seen on the "RB20" was already present on last season's car or if it was newly introduced. T-Tray 2023: This system is located under the front wing and aligns with the venturi channels, helping to manage vortices at the car’s front and direct airflow towards the diffuser. It also works as a height adjuster, with the "Skid-Block" resin board measuring ground clearance based on wear. T-Tray 2024: Reports suggest Red Bull has introduced a hydraulic system that can adjust the T-Tray’s height via a control on the steering wheel. This allows the car to be set lower during qualifying for better performance, then raised automatically for the race. There are minor differences between the 2023 and 2024 systems, such as a small valve on the "RB20," which is linked to the new automatic adjustment system Red Bull has confirmed to be in use. |
