Same question to you.

Would you mind sharing a link to the wheels and tires? Still trying to get a handle on the best width, offset and tire size.

The best combination would be the default of what BMW recommends for the car. I’ve added a screenshot of what BMW sent me

In Northern Germany near Hagen place called MM Concepts GmbH. If you want here is the eBay store if you want it. Most of the 1 series F40 wheels fit the x1.

Sorry for the late reply .. I am using a 20 × 9 wheel with 35 offset and 255 40 20. If you look at previous post, almost flush with a little poke. Tried to set it up like most my bmws in the past. Hope this helps

Now we're talking! I've been waiting for someone to post wheels wider than 8.5! Your previous pics look good! I like the aggressive look with lots of meat especially in the back. If you don't mind, what brand are those? Can you share the link? Thanks bro.

I was going to go 20x9 +35 when I bought mine but clearance on the rear strut was close. Curious if you notice any rubbing when driving hard?

Hi Guys,
Your configs look awesome! However, I'd like to ask about the tire selection - have you considered the BMW homologation (approval) marked as (*) on the tire's side surface?
I've heard many opinions and read some posts regarding xDrive sensitivity when using "not BMW-approved tires," which could potentially damage the 4x4 system. In such a case, BMW services will refuse to repair a car under warranty.

I've been on non star marked tires for over a year now with no issues. I have an appointment later this month to take care of the DCT and rear lamp panel gap recalls, and I don't expect to have any issues there. The most common issues with xDrive is when running mismatched circumference tires between the front and rear, as one axle will rotate faster than the other relative to the distance being traveled. If all tires are the same size I can't see it being an issue regardless of using BMW approved tires.

My understanding is exactly the same but based on my previous experience with a dealership, I'm pretty much sure they will refuse to repair the xDrive when any issues occur if I had non-star marked tires because they will have a clear prove of me not adjusting to the recommendations...
I was just curious if you guys also pay attention to this matter (I know it's ridiculous).

Well, in my case since the car is a lease and I'm responsible for returning the car with the required amount of treadwear left, I opted for going with an aftermarket set of wheels and tires, and will just put the OEM wheels back on when it's time to return the vehicle. If I was really concerned about tires, I would just put the OEM wheels back on before taking it in for service. Your dealer sounds like a difficult one, fortunately my dealer is pretty laid back on matters like this.
