Does your Remote start "enable" need to be re-selected all the time?

It seems like every 2-3 drives I cannot remote start from my fob or phone. i look at the settings in pre-condition screen and remote start has been "disabled", again, by itself. I then enable it ( the green toggle) and it just goes away and back to disabled on the next drive or so.

Has anyone experienced this?

This happened to me constantly during the 1-month free trial. I got it to work exactly 1 time in that month without a problem. Part of the reason I didn't order it permanently.

With nearly every update. Sometimes randomly.
I did however realize the car won’t start if you are in the reserve fuel level. 50 mi or less. That annoys me. But I should just get better at not driving my car empty.

happens to me randomly, notice it more when theres an update to MyBmw

I believe after an update you have to reset it in idrive under the climate controls.

I hope this isn't a "thing" and just applies to updates. My X1 isn't here yet, but I use the feature constantly on my 330 and cannot imaging it randomly not working. I realize this is probable a "first world problem" but I have gotten used to the car not being ultra hot or ultra cold when I get it!!!!
