Special software upgrade so charging times actually work, not "immediate"

for the iX1, the previous software upgrade stuffed the ability to charge "off peak". plug it in and and it started charging immediately, even if set for 200, off peak.
"eventually" BMW realised it was their fault, and brought out an update.
don't know yet what has been been changed, but all back to usual for the charging options.

How did you get the other updated applied? Do you have to go to the dealer or was it OTA?

dealer, but guess what, worked once then reverted to starting charging an hour after plugging even though time slot box ticked.
