Invalid coding configuration error
Hello all. New owner of a 2025 X1, had the attached error message displayed. I emailed the BMW sales rep/genius and waiting for a reply. Just wondering if any one else had seen that.

Never seen it but when things get GLITCHY doing a HARD RESET typically helps. Though better now than it was from early to mid 2024, the ID9 is definitely a Glitchy system.
“HARD RESET” * START CAR & LEAVE IN PARK * THEN PUSH & HOLDING DOWN THE CYLINDER VOLUME CONTROL ON CENTER CONSOLE UNTIL THE SCREEN CYCLES OFF & ON 2-3 TIMES. You should see a bunch of moving lines on the screen cycle off & on 2-3 times. This should take about 1 minute. Good luck |

Did the hard reset and that did erase the error code. |
