2025 X1 B-Pillar Recall
https://www.bmwblog.com/2024/11/12/2...bpillar-issue/
Sounds like it may be due to a supplier quality issue. Surely the design specs didn't change from the 2023/2024 models.

To be honest, my sales guy was expecting a much longer OTD time than what I've seen. My 330 took months, of course that came from South Africa I think, but this X1 has been weeks, and not that many so far. Thanks |

once the status changes from at the port to in transit you can ask your dealer or BMW genius for the ship name... I emailed bmwgenius@bmwusa.com with the VINs and got a response the next day

My X1 on order (built Sept 28) has been at the VPC for over 3 weeks due to this recall.
After entering the VIN at https://vehiclerecall.bmwgroup.com/i...uk&language=en, I see an open recall (code 0041380200) and an open “technical enhancement” (code 0041350200). I don’t know what 0041380200 corresponds to. 0041350200 is the code for the initial delivery stop associated with the B-pillar recall. Last edited by u11timate; 12-09-2024 at 04:35 AM.. |
