I got it to work in İD9, rebooted the operating system, which I think changed the Heads up Display to the basic one with the speed displayed in the centre of the instrument cluster. The next time I drove near a speed camera the Safety camera warning with countdown appeared in both the instrument cluster and in the Heads Up Display, but no audible warning. Worked again when I passed another camera. On reflection I think that it worked like this when I first bought the car.
However after getting it working again I changed the HUD display and the next time I came to a safety camera the warning only appeared in the instrument cluster. So I am going to reset the HUD to the basic setting again and see what happens when I pass a safety camera. My suspicion is that the warning only displays in certain HUD screens. Not easy to check as no speed cameras close to home. My dealer has advised that the safety camera app is not available in İD9 and it is currently not possible to set up an audible warning sound.

So you had paid the £25.00 for the App then?.

For my G20, there’s an app for the traffic camera settings. If I go in there, I can turn audible alerts on/off. You might want to check and see if there’s something similar.
