The Pop Tart bowl was a nail biter for sure. It was a rare warm day so I was able to hand wash the X5 and listen and finish it off while a casserole was in the oven. Great win ISU!

Thanks! Yes they did!

I wish they kept the gas pedal to the floor last night. Was rough watching them play so conservative on both sides of the ball after being up 31 - 7 halfway through the 3rd Q. Oh well! They were definitely the much better team out there!

Am I correct that last year, neither team (7,8 ranking) would have been in consideration?

Not necessarily but probably not. Seeds 3 and 4 would not have been in it (only there because they won conferences) and top 4 would have been thought about differently. No guarantee #5 and #6 would be the replacements. However Notre Dame’s early loss to NIU and OSU’s late loss to Michigan probably would have knocked them out of it.
