This isn't the seasonal rise. It's the bird flu in some parts of the country making entire farms have to slaughter their entire chicken flocks, quarantine until the flu's lifetime passes, and then start a new flock from scratch.

Here in NY State, it is so bad that even the local 4H clubs are not allowed to have animal shows to prevent the spread.....
