Critics for BMW M4. Pics attached - Copart

Hi folks,

I need your opinion, especially those who have experience with M4. Basically, I want to buy this car from Copart.

Would you say this would be a dangerous choice? It's dashboard looks a bit like a Christmas tree. What could cause all these signs?

I am new to M4 enginge too, if you see something is missing or needs an attention (based on a attached pic) , please feel free to comment.

That condition with those miles, no way. Even if it was damn near free.

Before you worry about the dash lights, check the battery status. BMW's do weird things with the dash when the battery gets a bit low.

Apart from that, I don't see anything that scares me at all.

However, remember that M Cars have an average mileage of about 5,000 a year, so even if it's rebuilt to perfection it's not going to bring any sort of decent money.

In short, what the poster above me said; it better be damn near free.

If this is your first foray into buying a salvage vehicle and putting it back on the road I would not start with this one. I deal with Copart regularly, had no idea they were in the UK.

It actually says "Battery discharged" in one of the other pictures.

Personally I don't see any damage that would justify that car being written off. Based on the pics I would say chassis is not impacted at all. If you know your away around these repairs and it's a good deal, I don't see why it could not be rebuilt easily.
