I'm just wondering if it works as well as in a full on foam gun on a hose.

if so, I might be interested in buying a bottle for this application.
i have used it in a manual pump foam sprayer. I used to take it with me to the local car wash in the winter. The pump sprayer works well, although it obviously takes longer and you don't get as thick of coverage. It is easier to get the mixture ratio right though. Touchless is amazing at stripping off winter road grime.

I have no intention of using this stuff (or anything else) as a touchless washing system. I'm just looking for a pre-wash that actually does more than look cool when applied with a foam cannon.

I always do a 2 bucket contact wash, but the more gunk I can get off the car before I touch it the better.

Nothing remove gunk like a pressure washer. It is the most effective prewash option there is. It is also the most inconvenient option, due to everything you need and have to setup. Let's not even mention the cost.

Did you see what I used in my video where I questioned how effective a touchless wash is? I got that wand at Walmart.

You'll get that with BH Touchless or Auto Foam. You should grab it soon before the newly released Obsessed Garage Canada announces it's taking over distribution from Carzilla...

I think you are confusing "touchless wash" with the product "Bilt Hamber Touchless," which is used as a pre-wash. The Bilt Hamber product actually removes road grime and gunk FAR better than a pressure washer alone.

Skip to 9:40 on the video for the side-by-side test, and 11:40 for the side-by-side results...

Shout out to Forensic Detailing who is the reason I started buying Bilt Hamber. Game changer.

You must not have watched your own video. Did you hear how the guy said that there was STILL a film of dirt left behind? That's the same exact result I had using a product that cost a fraction of what that guy used. The "film" left behind can ONLY be removed by agitating the dirt BY HAND. All the chemicals in North America can't remove that film unless it takes the paint with it. So if I am only going to spray the car off and go, I can get the same results using a pressure washer. That will knock off all the big dirt and leave a film behind also.

My whole point is that unless you deal with the film, you paint IS NOT CLEAN. If you then dry the car off BY HAND, you are doing nothing but installing swirl marks.

That's why I (and others) have been saying that Bilt Hamber Touchless is used as a PRE-WASH. (That means "before the wash.") In other words, you still wash your car BY HAND after you use it.

Try not to get wrapped around the axle hard charger...

Not everyone is using that as a PREWASH, they are using it just like the guy in the video is using it, AS A TOUCHLESS WASH. I use a foam gun to do the same exact thing, a PREWASH to my hand wash. Since I don't go mudding in my Corvette, that works wonders, and it doesn't require any special cleaners..

To be fair, at the beginning of the video (0:47), he says "in this glass here I have Bilt Hamber Touchless - their new car pre-wash system, which is really designed to be applied to the car prior to making the contact wash so you can rinse off as much of that dirt before you then go in and contact the car, with the aim of reducing swirling. That's what pre-washes do."

True, but that's NOT how he used it in THIS video, which most people will take to be a COMPLETE wash. After all the videos I have made on detailing, I know that you have to be explicit in explaining the small print, or people will take it and run in the wrong direction. Hell, even when I repeat myself 20-times in a video, people still ask questions about something I repeated 20-times.

You mean in the video where he says he's going to test, "which is the most effective prewash cleaner?" and only sprayed it on a door as a test panel?

Come on man. You don't want to be reasoned with or are open to any discussion. You just want to argue.

No, I just took the video that YOU provided for face value and stated what it showed. So where can I watch any of YOUR detailing videos? Maybe the ones that you have uploaded, convey the message that you are attempting to get across. 🙄

You're proving my point. I didn't even post a video. You're too busy being set in your ways to even pay attention to who is who.

The way you are aggressively defending that video says a lot. But I'm still waiting on YOUR video. When can we expect it?

i got it from a canadian site, i wasnt about to pay $40 for shipping for it on OG's site

Carzilla has it. and if you have a minimum order you get free shipping so i bought a few other detailing items i needed to replace.

works awesome as a prewash....

At $40, you should at least get to experience that gun to your head price in person. That's crackhead pricing right there.

Great video about how to use a pre-wash (like Bilt Hamber Touchless, for example...):
