The method has proven effective enough that Lewis Hamilton has started using it too. Ferrari are now refining this technique further through both simulator and on-track testing.

Sainz was very good too . It's a true shame that Ferrari screwed Sainz to get a 2nd tier driver like LEW...

LEW will never understand Charlie's clever braking technique.

I like Charlie but to say he is the best driver Ferrari has ever had is crazy with all the WDC drivers they’ve had.

I mean, of course rules are there for a reason and when broken should be punished but.....
Is this a team fault or a driver fault?
For something like this I'd rather see a team fine or maybe a driver penalty point. But not dropping down the starting grid.

A start grid punishment is (next to new parts) typical what you see when one driver hinders another driver on track, and you could argue that that was done because a driver could get direct advantage of that.
But in this case....
