Baby Seat Trouble....Suggestions?

Is anyone having a hard time finding a rear-facing baby seat that fits nicely in their 2023-2025 X1?

When our daughter was born, we purchased a Nuna Pipa, however, in order to get it fit properly, we had to put pool noodles/towels under the base (the rear seats are not level, they decline towards the back like bucket seats).

We now need to upgrade her seat as she's outgrowing the Nuna Pipa, but we haven't been successful in finding a baby seat that fits nicely without pool noodles/towels under the base.

Anyone have any suggestions??

We have the Nuna REVV and it fits without any modification. I can’t say I’m in love with it as I have a few complaints in major design flaws.

I will say the belt that latches to the hook point behind the seat leaves an indent that I’m a little concerned about.

Also, it rattles like a mad man when not locked into position which drives me mad. So I end up locking it in position even when my daughter isn’t in it.

The front passenger leg room is next to nothing with this seat engaged in rear facing position.

Otherwise it has been clutch to have the rotating seat while having to load her in.

We use the Nuna Rava and while a little tight, it works for us. Our son is a 90th height percentile toddler, so we had to move to forward facing a little earlier than expected. When it was rear facing, only my wife (5’6”) could fit in front; my 6’3” frame could not comfortably. It’s a little better with it front facing now as the front passenger seat has much more room. We keep the passenger seat rather forward though as his long legs will kick the back; YMMV with a shorter kid. The Rava has 5 incline settings forward and rear facing each, so it was easy to adjust for the rear seat angle.

I would recommend something to hang off the headrest as a seat back cover. Otherwise, the Rava has been excellent. Easy to move in and out, no issue with seat damage. Very easy to set up the tether. The cupholder on the door side should not be opened though; it’ll rub on the door arm rest trim.
