I decided to use the one in Sevilla, he is including covering the carbon buckets and inside carbon.
I've been in the US for the past 13 years, but I'm from San Sebastian and lived mostly in Barcelona

I'm sure for that price you are getting the royal treatment. The biggest expense in ppf is labor, and in Spain labor is cheap

For the price of full PPF, you can buy a plotter and a 20ft x 72in roll of material and do it yourself.

I would put serious cash money down that 99 people out of 100 that did just what you suggested would fail in frustration and still get it done professionally afterwards having wasted all that money on materials. Either that or they would just deal with the work looking like crap. Who wants to do that on $100,000 plus car?

The shop I finally selected and did my Xpel Ultimate Plus and ceramic work a year and a half ago only charged me $5,000 (I have a soft top). My friend just had his new M3 Competition done there (also with Xpel Ultimate Plus) for $5500. The owner has a great reputation and on any given day you can walk in and see a Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Bentley, etc. in his shop. I am sure that he charges a great deal more money for those expensive cars.
Sorry To revive old thread, but I'm in Miami and was hoping you could share the shop that you had yours PPF'd at? and any other Miami Shops

Ask for Rivan who is one of the owners and make an appointment. Make sure to call first and not simply drive over to make sure he will be available to meet with you in person.

Tell him that the owner of the Misano Blue Z4 that he worked on with the “ZMAZING” license plate recommended his services.

I visited several shops in the Miami - Ft. Lauderdale area and I am very picky. Rivan prides himself on doing a proper job and pays attention to detail.

Bear in mind that every PPF job might need some minor touchup work on the edges, etc. He has always taken care of everything to my satisfaction!!!

Also one of my friends had PPF and ceramic done there for his Brooklyn Gray M3 Competition. He is even pickier than me and was extremely pleased with their workmanship.

I did my work the end of 2021 and prices have definitely increased since then. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for!!!

You won't be disappointed, one of my neighbors just took his 4 year old black Targa GT3 to them for paint correction and ceramic coating and his car looks better today than it did when it was brand new. This shop prides itself on doing quality work!

What color is your M3 and what type of PPF are you considering?

When you call make sure that you mention you heard about them on Bimmerpost from the Z4 owner with the ZMAZING license plate.

I just talked to Rivan, his quote is very competitive, and I make sure to mention you when I called.
The M3 is tanzanite blue II metallic , I’m excited as I just bought it.
I’m thinking of a clear xpel ppf , is there any recommendations that I should consider? Thank you !!

There are two different types of clear PPF that you should consider for your M3. One of them is called Ultimate Fusion and has a hydrophobic top coat which repels water like a ceramic coating. I have Xpel’s Ultimate Plus PPF and had him put ceramic coating on top of the PPF. You should discuss the pros and cons of each one, the prices and make a decision based on that. You could also ask him to put a small piece of each one on your car and compare. 😉

PS, when you visit his shop, you might not want to leave as he has some gorgeous cars inside, it’s like a candy factory for adults. 👍🏻

I got my car a week ago , I went with gloss llumar platinum , Rivan told me he was having some customer service issues with Xpel , so I went with the other brand , the car looks incredible and his service was amazing , No car for 5 days while they were working in fully ppf my car, but I think it was worth it.
Thank you for the tip and the contact sir , much appreciated!!

I've had an Xpel full wrap for 2 1/2 years thus far and not one issue. Installation is the key.

Tanzanite blue is one of my favorite colors and your car looks absolutely amazing, Rivan is a perfectionist and I am glad that you are pleased. He really stands behind his work so I knew you would be in good hands!

LLumar Platinum PPF has a hydrophobic top coat that works like ceramic coating and the water will bead right off of the car.

I hope that you enjoyed looking at the cars he has in his shop, they are absolutely beautiful!

PS, did you ask him which car wash products he recommends to use?

I paid $5,000 for full ppf, tints, and all trim/headlight/tails

I'm very close with the owner of the shop.

To see $4,500 is very cheap for full car I would ask what that includes. Very low price

$11.5K is too high

Film is purchased in bulk at a good price often cut by the shop.

Cost all in is around $3K including labor + overhead add 50% margin.

Where does the other $6,000+ come from all labor?
