Pressol ProSeries Review
Obsessed Garage recently released the Pressol ProSeries line of sprayers and I went and got myself a few. I received them not too long ago so I wanted to go through and share a review. If I were to TLDR this, I'd say I expected more.
From the Pressol line, I've bought the household and the industrial sprayers before the ProSeries. Prior to this, I've had multiple failures - mainly to Brake Buster - which is quite annoying when you're paying +$20 for a spray bottle. OG did say on those releases that these items were in a testing phase etc etc. End of the day, I wanted these sprayers because I liked the way they looked, and the dual sprayer function is neat (in theory) so with all the caveating from the videos, I still made the decision to buy them. With all that, I still bought the sprayers. The Pressol sprayers in general are great... when they work. The issue is they're expensive, and they can stop working due to certain chemicals. The latest ProSeries was created to address the failures the previous gen had. In videos, it was shared Pressol/OG had been developing and testing for fixes to certain products including Brake Buster failures in their previous sprayers. Chemical, plastic derivative changes etc were made to the ProSeries line to address sprayer failures and provide robust chemical resistance in the bottles themselves. Although failure prevention wasn't absolutely guaranteed, the testing appeared rigorous enough where I felt the purchase was worth it. Fast forward to now - I've had my sprayers for about 2 weeks. I've only had 1 wash with them but they atomize just like the previous gen with were no issues. I also love the stainless tips - really premium touch and I may buy tips to change out my current set once they're sold individually. Now to the bad - 2 of the bottles I purchased are already having issues. They are functionally working BUT the bottles with Brake Buster and Atom-Mac have completely browned. Taking a look online, there's other posts about this issue so it's not an isolated incident. I have reached out to OG and the response from customer service is they're aware and are working to find a resolution for the issue. I'm scratching my head a bit as this bottle was supposed to be tested and not only that. And It was supposedly tested for months with the specific product I'm having issues with. Overall, I'm a bit annoyed. This product was sold as something tested and refined but it didn't deliver and support doesn't have any fix at this time. I bought the initial Pressol bottles through the early processes knowing they could have kinks, and they did but this time around, I feel pretty lied to. Although the bottles feel great, they shouldn't have issues after being told how much development supposedly went into them. If you're looking for a solid premium sprayer, these aren't it. At least for the time being. |
