Have been using Leatherique for years, wonderful product for conditioning and restoration of leather. Softens without petroleum product additives which destroy leather and stitching. 2 step process with Rejuvinator and Pristine cleaner.

You don't find that it's a bit a pain to remove the 1st application? A bit too sticky?

Nope, close up the car and let the Rejuvinator soak in with heat from the sun. Come back later and clean with the Pristine clean. Rejuvinator lifts the crud and conditions and is wiped away with the Pristine cleaner. Leaving a supple leather. Will bring back dried out leather to life depending upon how bad it is. Works on car interiors, boots, motorcycle seats...

My seat look good after 144k miles, I am the second owner and I try to use Leathernique a few times a year. Doing the project when it’s hot helps the leather absorb the cleaner and conditioner.

Covering the seat with a black plastic bag and letting the sun do its thing also helps the Rejuvenator oil soak in.

Does coding the Seat Entry in Bimmercode work for G80?

A good way to avoid this wear is to not wear jeans, and don't slide your butt on the bolster when getting in and out of the car. My car has 61k miles and the bolster has no significant wear like the OP. This has been my method for the past 30 years.
