Winter's here-keeping yourself warm with GooseDown Jackets
hey people,
seems like it really getting cold these days and some warm clothing is needed to keep yourself warm. well question is, i have a couple of those goosedown jackets that are puffed and keeps you freakin warm. but the thing is how the hell am i supposed to wash it? years ago i fucked up by washing 1 of those jackets and it didn't come back fluffy again. i tried putting it in the dryer with tennis balls but still didn't work. rewashed it by hand. wringed it by hand and threw it back in the dryer with tennis balls and still didn't do the job. it wasn't fluffy and there were soap/water stains. was a dumb ass that time and i don't want to make the same mistake again. i know that there are tags that have direction on how to wash but i still want to make sure. i live in an apartment and have a washer and a dryer. anyone know?

It's not too bad just as long as you have the right accessories. For me, a scarf and 180s are a must. I think NYC winters are worse because you tend to be out walking in the city more so than other cities.

I have a thermal HH boarding Jacket that keeps me pretty warm, the thing I hate is while you are warm walking outside, once you get into the subway it sucks ass because you start getting too hot, and its just a pain in the ass to take off the jacket, the scarf, the sweater... For this vary reason I try not to layer as much, but what can I say, I'm used to driving my bimmer with the auto climate on at 76 degrees and the heated seats on low...
