My car is only 7 months old but I drool everytime i see a vette.

You can find a slightly used 07 z06 for around 50k and regular vettes between 36-45k

The ecomony is great right now if you want to buy something.

I'm trying to convince my wife that this is the car for me cuz it's is like 15 grand cheaper than it was 1 1/2 years ago.

Been looking at E60 M5s on and off... the resale values on lots of cars seem to have crashed through the floor, or become realistic, depending on how you look at it. I've seen 996 Turbos for less than $50k, GT500s for mid-30k, 06 Z06's for 40-50k like Jesus Freak said

Don't forget the low $20s k C5 z06. The 996 Turbo maintenance and repairs would be through the roof compared to the vettes and mustangs.

19's are too small for this car. 20's would work if I was expecting any sort of performance from it, however I'm not. My intention with the CTS is to have a 2nd car for long freeway rides or for picking up dates, etc. I still have the E30 to have fun driving in or drifting, and my race bike takes care of any speed sensations. This will simply be a cruiser.

I love the big-boy wheels. I've got 17" on the E30 (read: stuffed & tucked), and wanted 22" on my 300C, but that never happened. Aesthetically, I will always want bigger rims. 22" I think fits this car to the tee and won't need to buy 3 sets of gradually increasing rim sizes like I did on the E30. I've learned from my mistakes.

Nobody else likes the stuffed rims look? I'm not talking donk sizes, just 22".

I just bought a new M3 so I'm done for a while, but this car has been haunting me. The problem is that it would need to be a 2nd car and I would need some dedicated garage space for it somewhere else than home. As if it weren't already an expensive proposition.

And I would 100% do the Martini stripe.

I don't know if this counts, but this is the only thing I'm thinking about buying for a while:

Lol now I'm really confused. Maybe I should get some much needed sleep and try to comprehend this in the morning.
