Where do I start?

Hey guys, I've been interested in Photography and Photoshop for a long time. I finally got photoshop on my computer and just have no idea where to start. I've been messing around with stuff but seriously there is so much to learn i literally do not know where to start. Any books/websites/tutorials I can learn from? Where did you learn? I've searched YouTube and learned some of the functions but I'm looking for something more thorough. Any ideas? Thanks!!

Google - Photoshop tutorials.

If you plan to mix it in with Photography later, two things to learn, layers and masking. From there, you will pick up the finer things like the filters etc.

Scott Kelby has some great books on photography. Check out "The Digital Photography Book Volume 1" as well as Volume 2. Volume 3 won't be released until late June.
