I hate when people make comparisons like this. I don't know about you but when i was looking at buying a 335i, I never considered a Vette. Just like on the Jeep SRT8 forum, people would always compare a $100k Cayenne with a $40k Jeep, other than performance, they were two very different vehicles that attracted two very different demographics, there is no point in comparing and trying to name one better than the other.

Yeah. I thought it was funny that the comparison was even made. There really aren't any American cars that compare to BMW, MB, or Audi.
There are certain markets where Vettes, GTOs, and other cars do well but not for most of us.

waste of time article. why don't they compare a jetta to the vette next and see who wins? i've never experienced any of the "problems" they said the 335 had. the whole point of their publishing that was to bash bmw.

TTAC is more of a 'tongue-in-cheek' sorta thing. But they do post a lot of cynical and witty stuff about the industry as a whole. Fun to read but not meant to be taken that seriously.

Good point. Forgot that one - still would not want that car. I'm sure it's fast but hell it's fugly - subjective.
