Has anyone seen any commericals or watched any of the episodes of Bromance? I don't normally watch MTV but i have seen the commericals and the show looks so completly absurd. Probably the most gay tv show on air right now.

I was flipping through the channels when it was on tv and saw group of guys (absolutely no girls) in a hot tub and immediately changed the channel.

The black guy is my friend, I've bartended with him for 2 years. The other white guy with the spikey hair also lives near me. They explained the whole show to me and how much of a joke MTV is...it took only 10 days to shoot the whole show.

So are your friends actors then? Did they get paid to do the show? I agree MTV is a joke, but anything you would like to add about that i would appreciate.

They're actually not actors. MTV does local casting things in every major city across the US, Orlando, Miami, NY, Houston, Cincinatti, Seattle, etc...

My friend is just a college student, he went to one of the casting things and they liked him....they flew him out to california for another thing, and then back again for the show a few weeks later...thats it. Most of it is heavily moderated by the producers, etc and is obviously over influenced and over exaggerated by the participants surroundings and eagerness to be 'on MTV'. But...not actors i assure you that lol.

Because of dumb shit like this I never watch MTV. I thought it was supposed to be "MUSIC" television, not reality central.

I had a friend a few years ago who was on Room Raiders and she told me the whole thing is staged and they even tell you who to pick, big surprise there. MTV sucks.

My friend Juan was on roomraiders too. The producers go in your room, find stuff like porno mags and bongs, and put them out in the open even if you hide them for the dumb slut to find on tv.

I don't think you get any money for being on MTV (With the exception of those idiots on the Hills and crap like that). You do it for free because they cover all your expenses and you get to be on MTV man!
