Found my Daily Driver for my 135i
I'm so excited to have found a very viable daily driver for my 135i. I hated honda for the first 19yrs of life mainly because everyone and their grandmother had one. School was flooded with them. It took me 3yrs but now I have nothing but respect. Yes they make a lot of vanilla cars but the quality is amazing. I can name 10 people that currently have hondas that dog the hell out of them and will swear by them. I drag my current car to 8200rpms on a daily basis and I dont think I've ever seen less than 20mpg. Honda has confirmed to produce a production version of the CR-Z. It is to be the successor the the CRX. Personally, I drive a lot. The warranty of my beloved 135i would be toast in 3 years easily. I've been toying of having a DD forever and now I'm glad Honda is producing something that will be decent looking and yield awesome economy. I've followed the development of the 1coupe for about a year and half now its time to follow this. Hopefully my garage will have a sweet AW 135i in it and next to it will be a White 45mpg 4passenger CR-Z.

looks good, too bad it wont look anything like that concept.. sure the body will be similar, but conceps always look more aggresive and cutting edge than the production car.

I like it all. Honda has never really put much into design. They're getting bolder these days. The new Civic is a great example, as well as the MD-X. The new Pilot will be interesting to see...

Could they build an uglier car.
What is up with the giant grill? Audi and Dodge are that influential? Why are all the car companies building "bold" oversized grills? Grill envy? With the exception of Cadillac, car companies have finally gotten over their fixation with GIANT headlights. Tall roofs with big-nose hoods and grills...uggg... Yaris hatchback styling is here to stay, it seems. |

I think the big grills are a result of manufacturers not knowing what else to do with the Euro pedestrian safety requirements. Besides that, this is a concept so everything is at least 10% overdone.

Honda's last 3 cars have looked frighteningly close to the concept. I hope they dont screw this up.

I wonder if Honda is giong to pull a Toyota with their new AE86 successor and make this a very affordable car but Honda will probably stick to FWD though. Also, seeing as how most hatches are turning out these days, lets hope this one doesn't get the ugly treatment.
