My 1984 Celica drag run, I challenge all 135s
That was a project I built when I was bored 2 yrs back
Swapped the engine with a 2JZ-GTE out of a Supra and added some goodies watch and remeber how similar the engine to an N54:headbang:

Ha, I just sold my 84 Celica GTS two weeks ago. Set up for autocross duty it weighed in at about 2200 pounds. I know it wouldn't take much horsepower to outrun my 135. ModlessG, with a single 2 1/2" exhaust, header and open air filter element mine would get around 50mpg averaging 100mph. (Back when I was younger and infinitely more stupid) It felt a lot more stable at 140mph than my 135i does too. (private roads for all above listed speeds of course)

mpg was one thing I did not consider at all with this project:biggrin: and yes, it feels stable, but not better than the 1:roundel: I changed the rear end and clocked 217km/hr in the 1/4 with a best et of 10.7:headbang:

Proves the formula: light car + grunt = speed |
