Wow thats crazy. First off I wouldn't be putting 4mil in my garden. And second, after digging it up so many times someones bound to catch on :s. Still sucks though.

just make sure the bank dun go burst and u are only insured for 100K from FDIC..

better to get some interest than none at all in the bank. Even if the banks in Japan offer only a certain amount of protection of money ie.. 100K, it's better to recoup 100K in the event the bank fails than come out with 0 if the money gets stolen like in this story. stewwwpid
