Has anyone heard of a poker player named Ali Nejad?

I was at the detailer today and right after I got there this black Gallardo rolls up. Guy who gets out has this hoodie on w/ sponsor logos. Apparently his name is Ali Nejad and he is a commentator for poker tournaments on TV as well as a successful player himself. I don't know anything about poker, is he very well known?
