Newbie
I've had my '09 335i Alpine White w/ Black interior now for a couple months (600 miles). I'm glad to join the Bimmer community. I felt that this was an appropriate post for my first one.
1 Question - What is the rankings that some people have under their names? ex.) Major, 1st Lieutenant

That is the custom user title set in your user profile. If you leave it blank in your profile you will be assinged a military rank based on the number of posts you have made. |

Another newb...
After months of lurking on all of the forums and originally looking for an E46 M3, I found a 2007 Monaco Blue 335I Coupe 6 speed with 24k, balance of full maintenance left and CPO until 2012/100k and just picked it up from the dealer last night.
Unfortunately it snowed most of the way back to CT from upstate NY through MA so I took it very slowly not wanting to stuff my new ride on day one. But all I can say when I ran it up through the gears before I hit the bad weather is... it's going to be a fun ride when warmer dryer weather comes! |

Welcome to the new members!
If you haven't already learned, this site is both addicting, and a drain on your wallet with all the mods you'll see and decide you have to have. Like Spacedogg said, the military titles are rankings based upon your post count. If you don't want to use them, you can edit your profile and add whatever title you'd like.

Man...this is gonna be painful! Swore I'd never dump money into cars again. BMW makes it easy. Anyway, before I do start with mods, does everyone on the forums own or lease...or both? Just a general question. Concerned, because I'm leasing my 2nd BMW. Want to mod, but trying to keep it to things I can reverse at lease end, if that should become a problem! ANY SUGGESTIONS! Should I just keep it stock?

Thanks for the welcome all of you! Looking forward to hanging out on the site as a member and now proud owner.
No engines mods for me but will be looking for some ideas on personalizing the car cosmetically in the forums. |
