Question Considering CPO X3 --- reliabilty concerns?

I've done some searches on XBimmers but the forum is much less active. I know a few of you have mentioned owning X3s. Looking to pick up a CPO 2007 with Sport pkg. Anyone have reliability issues with them? I read of some transmission reprogramming, but overall comments are positive. Thought this crew might have some wisdom to offer up.

Thanks in advance

Only real issue is the transmission which, even when fixed, still sucks. My suggestion, get over the BMW badge and pick up a different SUV, the X3 is really really really not worth it. It really feels like a 20k automobile. Look at used Acura MDX's or new body ML 350's. They are much much nicer cars for your buck.

My sis actually just turned in her 07 X3 6sp with 24k miles, never had 1 single problem. I know it was still a baby. I wish she had kept it..

If you're buying a MY2007 CPO then you should have warranty until 2012-2013. Are you going to keep the car that long? If not, then you should have no concerns.
