Junk Mail... rant or just trying to be constructive?

short story... for the past year I've been collecting my junk mail and filling up the postage paid envelopes with those worthless offers to buy buy buy...
over 200 in a year... junk mail from one put into the envelope of another...

I figure the post office makes a few bucks out of this... maybe if everyone does it, the post office can hold off on their thoughts of cutting back their hours\days...

and as little effort that this took, it'll feel good dropping this pile into the mailbox down the street.

rant over...

Only 200 in a year ?? I get around 30 offers a week.

Don't know if I would go to the extreme of sending all the postage-paid envelopes back, though.

To clarify... Is this what you're doing? If you get two pieces of junk mail, one from citibank, the other from amex, You mail the citibank offer to amex and the amex offer to citibank?! I like the idea. Thinking of ways to embrace and extend...

nice. My cousin used to put trash in them and mail it.
