Broke my leg...surgery... now even worse...
Hi guys,
So I broke my leg in a soccer game a few weeks back. I had surgery to repair it. The doctor ended up putting in eight screws and a big plate in my leg. Ive been on crutches and have just started to feel better. Except yesterday I went to the hospital due to some pain and found out I have a blood clot in the same leg (probably formed from the surgery and not being moble). So now im giving myself injections in my stomach everyday as well as getting blood drawn everyday to maintain a certain level of medication. I guess the reason im writing is that I think sometimes we take our health for granted. I never thought id have to do this to myself. And there are people out there living life everyday with problems much more serious then mine. And I envy their courage.

Dang man sorry to hear, hope everything works out for the best. I agree with you how hard other people have it. I'm thankful I can get up everyday with out any problems.

Sorry to hear that, dude. Been there ...done that. Give it time. Everything heals (although it may never be the same as before, let me tell you)
Get the best doctors and physical therapists you can. Having one that specializes in Sports Medicine is an absolute must. We can exchange photos of our battle scars when you get better ...Good luck |
