Need your input: Vital sign device-SPOT LXI

I'm taking 3D modeling course at my school and need your input in order to complete my course project.

Basically, I have to redesign the device called SPOT LXI which measure blood pressure, body temperature, and pulse automatically.

It doesn't have to be exactly that specific model or company.

If you have an experience with it, I'm sure there were some inconveniences when you used this device, such as portability, cord management, cleaning, and anything in your mind.

Please feel free to post up your feedback here.

Thank you and have a great day!

I think carbon fiber is in order here! How about a better basket, maybe with a smaller tray for little items in addition to the big storage part, that looks like it was an afterthought with the current design. Also it needs a 42" Plasma screen, a cotton candy maker and strobe lights.

What program are you modeling with? Feel free to PM if you have any questions. That thing doesn't seem very hard to model.

CF seems good idea for weight reduction.

Better basket is also a great idea. Like it.

I'm using SolidWorks which I think easier than ProE.

Thank you for your comment!

its a simple device. Not sure what u want to improve.

The only way u can improve on the design is to make it have automatic retractable cables.

powercord/ bp cord/temperature/ pulse

you can also add a printer to it, like a cash register for the vitals
