Photography is just like every art in that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and everyone has their own style in many pictures or art that they make/take. Some people like realistic style of pictures with no editing some like the surreal images that HDR can sometimes supply to you everyone is entitled to their own opinion and if you like it you don't if you like it then you like it. Being a skilled photographer is tough it takes a lot of trial and error and our comments and criticisms will only make him better as a photographer. Now I personally enjoy HDR at times because it gives a different aspect to the picture that you cant see when its not processed at all, just like if you look at a painting the other way you can see something differently. I do agree the highlights around the car were a little extreme but if they were toned down the shot would be beautiful because every thing in the entire shot is crystal clear and precise which i truly like.
This is a GTR i did at the AMS Performance meet and its got a similar style to it just not HDR but same idea kinda... |
