what's up with the military ranks under the user names of most posters on this board? Does it have something to do with how long you've been posting or been a member of the community? Do you get points for something or other?

Just wondering...

It depends on your post count. The more posts, the higher your rank.

I think it just means I spend to much time on here, getting ideas for my next mod
