I would like to respectfully disagree with your opinion here.

I'm sure there are plenty of customers looking for a racecar experience combined with practicality.

It's like the thread I posted in the M3 Vs section; you can have a car amaze you by the rate of land it covers, which can be seen as a boasting right or a showcase of technology, or you can have the experience (or both).

Of course it depends on an individual's preferences, and I'm sure older folk would lean towards less aggressive machines.

I could care less for a car that's fast but does all the work for me (which isn't entirely the case with the RS6, just a general statement).

I love the RS6. Wagons are freeking great! They move just about anything (not sure if you tow anything with an RS6 though) and drive right, not like an SUV. If you need space get a wagon, if you want to offroad get a 4x4 that you won't care if you roll it or run it into a tree. BTW coolest wagon ever:
