do the RS4. I dont see why he is hell bent on an AWD car. I grew up on LI, and I know that you can get some decent snowstorms, but you do not need AWD just to get around... A properly driven RWD car should be fine...

But he wanted to keep AWD, right? Kind of limits him a little--like others have said, I would wait on the 335XI, throw an Xede in it, and have an awfully fast car that could handle most weather situations.
