Not a large amount, but not justified either.
In a time when gas prices are down, costs are down, and still in a pretty sizeable recession, I think BMW would of been FAR smarter to actually REDUCE prices of their 2010 models by .4% Mercedes completely remodeled their E class and in the process lowered their prices by a significant amount. 2010 brings ZERO remodels or changes to the 1, 3, 5, or 7 series, yet they increase the prices. Bad choice and bad marketing to boot. And the $50 increase in destination charge again, though small hardly seems justified. It surely cost A LOT more to ship a car 1-2 years ago (when gas prices were 50% higher and there was no recession) than it does now. BMW is turning into Porsche when it comes to pricing. |
