Well,
finally hit 1200 miles on my speedometer the other day and had to go to Frankfurt Int'l Airport to pick mom up who was visiting me here in Germany. FINALLY am able to open up the engine on my 328i. WOW! There was a clear stretch of Autobahn and I wanted to see what the 328i was capable of.

I got her up to 135mph!!!! NO

!!! Asolutely INCREDIBLE!

I have no idea how fast she could have gone, but 135mph was way fast enough for me. Scared the shit out of me!

It's funny, you know, after picking up mom and coming back to Heidelberg, I was cruising along at a moderate 100mph and it scared crap out of her, but felt like I was plodding along!

This thing truly is "The Ultimate Driving Machine!"

Agreed. =) I've pegged the electric speed limiter, at 138 mph or so, and DAMN that's smooth fun. Can't wait to get it de-limited, and see what 160 feels like.

The fastest I have ever been was 180mph in my friends dads heavily modded 03 mustang cobra... even though it has 5 point harnesses and a thick roll cage it scared the shit out of me! At that speed s*it comes at you f'ing quickly! haha
