The X6 is one of the ugliest BMW ever made. I hate it so much that I look away every time I see it on the road. And im not kidding.

And wrong timing for BMW to release X6, last year when economy is fragile, and fuel price was stable at a high price. As well as the public is more aware of MPG more than AWD and HP/Torque...They dive for the overrated Prius instead

i really like the X6, but BMW made it wrong, its not a SUV, its not a off road vehicle by any means and never was. its simple a cross over performance thing (i still dont know how to categorize that car) buts its a road car and i think its a GT SUV cross over.
its totally fair for jeremy to do this because im sure that there are a good amount of people in europe that want a car that is good in all weather. especialy snow and if the x6 cant do it people should know |

I've gone up way steeper (and sloppier/wetter/slipperier) hills in a crappy 20 year old F150 4x4 with neigh bald tyres. I will agree, though, that the LR was going faster before the hill. The tyres are sandard equipment. If the car can't off-road "as-equipped", it's got no business being advertised as any 'utility' vehicle. It's an "SUV-Styled Sedan". But we all already knew this. This video only pokes fun at the concept of building a car to "do X" but to "look like Y". Which IMHO is a perfectly fine way to design a car. Give people what they want. -scheherazade |

Just watched this last night. Goofy report. Clarkson tried to climb a hill & run in snow with summer performance tires.... yea, that'll work. If he put on winter tires or hell, even all season, I'm sure it'd be an entirely different story. It was designed as an on-road vehicle anyhow. And while I can't comment on the road feel, the thing scoots around corners like no other SUV/SAV and has no less room than a standard coupe.
Stupid review, not stupid car.
