Update
Hey Guys,
Thanks for the congrats wishes.. Winning the 24 Hours of Daytona last weekend was unbelievable. Still hasnt sunk in. But it is a good reminder when i check the time and see my shiny new Rolex. I know some of you will wanna see the hardwear so I attached some crapy pictures. 2010 is looking great. I will be rejoining BMW/DINAN power for the next round of the championship at Homestead March 6th, as the points leader. I will be driving for a newly formed team, StarWorks Motorsports. They are based out of Ft Lauderdale, and although a new name very experienced personal. I actually raced for the past few seasons with SAMAX Motorsports (2005-2008) and Orbit Racing (2009). And its much the same people. The owner of SAMAX actually went to Orbit to manage there DP effort last season now has set up StarWorks. They will campaign two Riley-BMW Daytona Prototypes for the remainder of this sesaon, #7 & #8. I will drive the #8 with Canadian driver Mike Forrest. My engineer will be Bill Riley, from Riley technology so we will be extremely fast.....i hope haha. I think BMW will have a great presence in Grand-Am this season throughout the classes. Unfortunately BMW dont invest much into our series at this point and its up to the tuners to represent, i.e. DINAN. Apart from Grand-Am prototypes i have a few other deals I am working on, which will be awesome if they come together. Dont be surprised to see me pop up in Continental challenge at some point, and something else huge that will likely include being in France in June haha. Anyway hope you are all well and thanks for the support. Sorry I had to win in a Porsche guys but Ganassi wouldnt hire me for the 24hr. Nice. It was a cold, wet, miserable, but enjoyable weekend. Now you got to ask yourself...was the win b/c you were in a Porsche, or b/c you were driving the Porsche... I think you'll be with Dion over at Starworks then? He was karting here in FL when I started karting. Funny to see all these young drivers who used to Kart here in FL doing so well. God, I feel like I am getting old. Too bad I started racing too late in life, oh yeah, and broke. Life would be nice, though I don't envy the constant quest for rides and money....good luck this year.
